MARINE REFRIGERATION
Designed to preserve your catch and reduce downtime.
Our ice machines are specially designed to prevent spoilage, maintain maximum catch quality, and withstand the most demanding conditions at sea.
Highland equipment minimizes temperature fluctuations that can compromise the product, outperforming other ice machines in efficiency and reliability.
- Anodized aluminum drum for long service life and ice quality consistency.
- Variable frequency drive (VFD) to control ice thickness.
- Air or water cooled, to suit the characteristics of any vessel.

Highland Refrigeration liquid chillers are designed to address the specific needs of industrial and commercial fishing, ensuring your catch stays fresh and high quality during long voyages.
Whether with plate or shell-and-tube heat exchangers, these chillers support diverse solutions—including seawater—offering maximum flexibility for your vessel's configuration.

Widely applied in the food processing industry, plate freezers, both vertical and horizontal, are built with a stainless steel structure and stainless steel braided Teflon hoses.
Our plate freezers are manufactured in standard sizes, all using food-grade extruded aluminum plates designed to maximize heat transfer.

Containerized systems are portable, self-contained, and very easy to install. Furthermore, they are manufactured in a controlled environment, which drastically reduces on-site installation and commissioning time.
Highland Refrigeration manufactures customized systems inside insulated containers, which can range from plate freezers, blast freezing tunnels, cooling systems, high or low-temperature storage chambers, to ice machines with integrated storage.
